This place is literally a hidden gem! This place has such a cozy and warm atmosphere, and the waitresses are so friendly and welcoming, the food is top tier, always fresh and very consistent! Highly recommend for anyone that is looking for a calm and quiet place where they can enjoy some amazing food and incredible service. Every time we ordered, we have always been impressed by the presentation of the food, the freshness and the quality of the ingredients. I must say, Kanzii has a special place in my heart. Credits to the awesome chefs for being so amazing at what they do!
First time at this restaurant, a casual dining experience which suited us as we had little ones with us. We didn't know how long it would take for us to arrive at the restaurant and we arrived slightly early..about 5 minutes before they actually opened but we were still greeted warmly. We were sat down quickly and given menus. Foodwise, we ordered 2 seaweed salads (my favourite!), 2 yakitori, 2 grilled chicken ramen, an agadashi tofu, a torikaraage, a okonomiyaki, a black cod miso yaki, a prawn tempura roll, a bowl of rice, a salmon set, a chocolate crepe and a vanilla mochi. All very well executed and delicious. The chicken was grilled to perfection. The black cod was lovely and light and flakey, again perfectly cooked. I am not entirely sure as never asked but I believe the chef and some of the staff are Koreans? ..Not that it matters as the cuisine they produced was better than a lot of Japanese restaurants we have eaten in (which incidentally are usually owned by koreans, nepalese or chinese...it is actually very rare to get Japanese owned japanese restaurants anywhere outside of the big cities in this country). Service was efficient and friendly. If I was to be picky then I would say the restaurant has a lovely ambience, nicely spaced tables and seems mostly clean. The tables, we were on however, were quite sticky feeling. I know some cleaning products do leave a residue (I am hoping this was the case today anyway!) ... but a suggestion may be to change the cleaning product as there are many antibacterial cleaners nowadays which do not leave the table feeling tacky to touch (some people may be put off by this). Overall, we left very satisfied and with a doggy bag (as always, we over ordered!). The bill came just under 180 for 2 adults and 3 children under 10.
This is definitely the best sushi you will find outside of the central London restaurants and even then Kanzzi is better than most of them too - when you factor in the prices - Kanzzi is the overall winner. The rolls are just the most amazing intricate craftsmanship and that sizzling beef spare rib starter is something I could eat all day long. Have visited 5 times so far and not intending to stop anytime soon
I had an exceptional dining experience today at Kanzzi Sushi. Our group of four individuals set out to find a delightful gastronomic adventure, and we stumbled upon this sushi establishment that exuded a pleasant, intimate, and refined ambiance. Furthermore, a customer bestowed upon us a resounding endorsement, proclaiming it to be the finest restaurant in all of Epsom. 5/5 stars
I’m pretty sure that this restaurant is one of the best quality with this price range in the UK. Really fresh Sashimi and harmony of ingredients of other dishes were really well balanced. It is really good Japanese cuisine and some surprisingly sneaked in Korean touch fusions of some dishes were amazing. Brilliant staffs and service with really well maintained amenities are big plus. Definitely recommended and I will go again.
Amazing Japanese food in the very heart of Epsom! Very Affordable, attentive staff and the food is served with hardly any delay! The price is also very reasonable, I was able to try all the japanese dishes I loved without breaking the bank! Will definitely come back!
Absolutely wonderful! This restaurant is an absolute gem. The staff are incredible and the food is so delicious, innovative and authentic. The restaurant is often busy so it may take longer for your food to arrive, but have patience as it is absolutely worth the wait!

It really felt like they wanted to ensure I had a memorable dining experience, and they succeeded.
